Yixuan Zhu is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Shanghai office. She joined the firm’s Shanghai office in 2015, transferring to the New York office in 2017 before rejoining the Shanghai office in 2022. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, government enforcement actions, and internal investigations. Yixuan has experience counseling multinational companies on legal and internal controls issues that implicate the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”) and other anti-bribery laws, accounting and book-keeping standards, economic sanctions laws, and antitrust and competition laws. She currently focuses on commercial litigation in various U.S. jurisdictions as well as international commercial arbitrations, some of which involve Chinese parties. The matters she has been working on include contract, data privacy, antitrust, and business transaction disputes. She has advised clients from the healthcare, finance, auto part manufacturing, telecommunication, energy, real estate investment, electronic appliance manufacturing, and internet service industries. She passed the Chinese bar exam in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Yixuan worked at a U.S. law firm in Shanghai.
