John Poulos is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Chicago office, and his practice focuses on high-stakes patent litigation. He has represented large technology companies in various federal court litigations with extensive experience ranging from 30(b)(6) and third-party depositions to claim construction briefing, substantive motion writing, and expert reports. John frequently works directly with experts in building robust offensive and defensive positions. John is a registered Patent Attorney and has a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University (SMU). His technical experience ranges from telecommunications and software to semiconductors and controls. Prior to law school, John designed and implemented capital expenditure projects for a multinational defense company.
