Stephanie Kelemen

Stephanie Kelemen is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office.  She joined the firm in 2022.  Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense. 

While at Harvard Law School, Stephanie worked as a criminal defense student attorney as part of Harvard’s Criminal Justice Institute.  She advocated for her clients inside and out of the courtroom, reaching numerous favorable settlements and winning a “not guilty” verdict at trial.  Additionally, Stephanie represented victims of domestic violence in divorce, child custody, and protective order proceedings during her time in Harvard’s Domestic Violence and Family Law Clinic.  While there, Stephanie had the opportunity to draft an appellate brief and make oral arguments in the Massachusetts Appeals Court.  Stephanie is also served as a mediator with the Harvard Mediation Program and a guest contributor for a variety of legal blogs on the topics of national security, food policy, state and local government, indigent legal representation, and dispute systems design.  During her summers, she worked at another major law firm on a variety of litigation matters, including biopharma DOJ investigations and COVID-19 related insurance/reinsurance disputes.  Prior to attending law school, Stephanie worked as a management consultant at a Big 4 firm where she advised clients on M&A transactions, market strategy, and antitrust issues.
