Remo Decurtins is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Zurich office. His practice focuses on complex, high-stakes litigations, arbitrations and criminal and regulatory investigations, on behalf of companies and individuals, frequently involving multiple jurisdictions. He has represented clients before Swiss courts in various employment disputes.
Remo has a particular interest in national and international sports and has represented several high-profile clients in football, basketball, boxing, car racing, and other sports, in complex business disputes. Remo also provides support to sports associations, clubs and league organizers with respect to corporate governance and compliance, contracting and crisis management, and advises on all aspects of transfers of athletes and of athletes’ management arrangements. Recently, he assisted an event organizer in creating an annual “Champions League” tournament, and advised on the transfer of a race car driver active in Formula 1 and Formula E.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Remo worked as an associate at leading business law firms in Geneva, Zurich and New York.
Remo obtained his law degree from University of Lucerne (Master of Law, 2010) and his LL.M. from New York University (NYU) School of Law (2016). He is admitted to the Zurich Bar and the State Bar of New York.
